I don't know about you guys but I have always had a thing for the First gen IS/Altezza.
But finding a manual trans one is not easy. Stupid Americans. I blame it on Lexus' marketing. I mean lexus buyers aren;t people looking for a budget 328i they are people that want a slightly nicer Camry, or Avalon.
And even rarer is the sexy SportCross.

Why not a V8 swap from a GS?

As a testament to the IS300, they hard as hell to find on sale......but I've seen many locally. I believe people buy them, keep them, and love them.

IS300 came with non-turbo 2Jz. mounting points and everything are already there.

I know that, but damn a V8 would be kickass.

meh. While they sound great, id rather try and cram the V10 from the LFA in there. because everyone and their dog does a V8 swap.

Yeah, that would be cool, but while the 4.3 V8 swap could be done for relatively cheap, the V10 would be Ferrari 360 territory money.

would still more reliably then the 360
or, how about a dodge viper V10, because shits and giggles

That could be done on the cheapish. The Iforce 5.7 can handle some boost though.

It's basically a new version of the Cressida, which was basically a luxury 4 door Supra. What's not to like?

Easily fixed by rummaging through the Toyota parts bin. I swapped my Cressida using an amalgamation of various-generation Supra parts, as well as some AE86 stuff. Other than the driveshaft, it was all bolt-in.

When I am in the market for a decent daily, I'll be looking for a sportcross.
